Facade Architect GFRC / UHPC

The Global Elephant (TGE) is a Mumbai-based specialist in architectural facades, with 25+ years of experience designing, manufacturing, and installing GFRC, GRC, and UHPC systems. We're looking for a Facade Architect who can carry a facade from architectural intent through to shop drawings, and stay involved through fabrication and site installation.

What you'll do

• Read and interpret architectural drawings — plans, sections, and elevations — and translate them into buildable GFRC/UHPC facade designs
• Prepare shop and fabrication drawings, detailing panels, moulds, cleats, and connection/fixing arrangements
• Coordinate directly with clients and architects — attend meetings, present design proposals, and resolve design queries
• Visit project sites and guide site engineers on fixing methods, installation sequencing, and GFRC/UHPC design intent
• Work on panelisation and incorporate consultant and client comments
• Maintain drawing registers and revision control, and coordinate with the factory to keep drawings production-ready

What we're looking for

• B.Arch with Council of Architecture (CoA) registration
• 1-3 years of experience in facade, cladding, or precast — GFRC/UHPC preferred
• Strong architectural sense — able to read and think in plans, sections, and elevations
• Proficiency in AutoCAD; Revit/BIM a plus
• Sound understanding of GFRC/UHPC design, fabrication, and fixing methods
• Confident communication skills for client, architect, and site coordination
• Willingness to travel to project sites across India
