Job Description

  • Fabrication of Turbine and Generator Components.
  • Cutting of Plates as per drawing and nesting plan
  • Rolling and Bending of plates as per drg. Requirements
  • PWHT and Stress relieving of Fab components
  • Welding Electrode Management
  • Training of workmen on need basis
  • Maintenaining Safety and descipline at shop floor
  • Motivating staff and workmen to improve productivity and quality by small group activities such as Suggestion and Kaizens
  • Close monitoring of critical welding operations
  • Review of productivity, efficiency and plan vs actuals.
  • Review and analysis of Rework Hours and other loss hours.
  • Maintain safety and discipline in shop- IMS Audit (Quality, EHS, Environment, Energy)
  • Alloy welding- HIP Sleeve, SSBR & Diaphragm, Valves, Main Oil Tank,
  • Blasting & Painting- Job PDI, Customer witness Support.
