Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate all fabrication activities during the assigned shift (Day or Evening).
  • Ensure the production of high-quality mechanical parts and prototypes in line with R&D specifications and timelines.
  • Interpret technical drawings, and fabrication instructions accurately.
  • Manage fabrication staff, allocate tasks, and monitor performance throughout the shift.
  • Operate or oversee the use of machines, manual machines, welding tools, 3D printers, and other fabrication equipment.
  • Collaborate with engineering and design teams to resolve fabrication challenges.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workshop environment at all times.
  • Oversee shift changeovers to ensure smooth communication and task continuity.
  • Perform routine inspections of tools and machinery, and coordinate maintenance as needed.
  • Uphold all workplace safety regulations and company policies.

Shift Schedules:

  • Day Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
  • Evening Shift: 2:30 PM – 10:30 PM

Education & Experience:

  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field.
  • 3 years of fabrication or machining experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or team lead capacity.

Technical Skills:

  • Strong understanding of mechanical fabrication processes (machining, welding, forming, additive manufacturing).
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and CAD designs (SolidWorks, AutoCAD preferred).
  • Experience in working with various materials such as metals, plastics, and composites
