Project Manager – Fabrication Projects

Location: Mangalore

Experience: 8+ Years

Qualification: BE/B.Tech – Mechanical / Electrical or equivalent

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead end-to-end fabrication and modular engineering projects involving process equipment, piping, vessels, columns, structures and installation. The role will be responsible for project delivery, customer coordination, cost and budget control, risk management, cash flow and overall project execution.

Key Responsibilities

Lead projects from planning through fabrication, installation and final delivery.
Manage projects involving columns, vessels, piping, structural fabrication and equipment.
Act as the single point of contact for customers and coordinate with internal teams, vendors and subcontractors.
Prepare and monitor project schedules using Primavera P6.
Drive project delivery within agreed time, quality and budget.
Manage project cost, budgeting, cash flow and customer payments.
Identify and mitigate project risks and monitor overall project performance.
Handle contractual matters including legal terms, bank guarantees, damages, claims and change orders.
Coordinate with international customers, particularly from US/European markets.
Lead project reviews and ensure effective communication across engineering, procurement, manufacturing and site teams.

Key Requirements

8+ years of experience in project management within fabrication, process equipment, modular projects, heavy engineering or similar industries.
Strong understanding of piping, columns, vessels, structural fabrication and installation.
Hands-on experience in cost control, budgeting and risk management.
Mandatory experience with Primavera P6.
Experience in project financial management, cash flow and customer payment tracking.
Experience handling international customers and working as the project SPOC.
Good understanding of contractual and commercial terms, bank guarantees and damages/LD.
Knowledge of ASME Section VIII Div. 1 is required; exposure to IBR, CCOE, PED, EN and IS codes will be an advantage.
Strong customer management, negotiation, communication and leadership skills.
