Fabrication Fitter

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Fabrication Fitter, based in Balanagar with flexibility for some work-from-home arrangements. The Fabrication Fitter will assemble, fit, and maintain marine and defense components to meet specified designs and standards. Day-to-day responsibilities include interpreting blueprints, preparing materials, performing cutting, welding, and machining tasks, conducting quality checks, and ensuring adherence to safety procedures.

• Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and blueprints
• Experience in fabrication techniques such as cutting, welding, and machining
• Knowledge of working with metals and alloys commonly used in marine and defense systems
• Familiarity with safety standards and practices in fabrication environments
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team and independently
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical certifications are a plus
• Previous experience in the marine or defense sector is advantageous but not mandatory
