Job Description

o Identify new business opportunities - including new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, products and services.

o Develop a growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction.

o Generate leads and communicate new product developments to prospective clients.

o Following up new business opportunities and setting up meetings,

o Have a good understanding of the businesses products or services and be able to advise others about them.

o Discuss promotional strategy and activities with the marketing department.

o Liaise with the finance team, warehousing and logistics departments as appropriate.

o Determine key business development KPIs and lead the team, motivating them to achieve their targets.

o Negotiating and renegotiating by phone, email, and in person towards closure and growing accounts.

o Ensure that data is accurately entered and managed within the company's CRM or other sales management system.

o Build strong relationships with industry professionals, competitors, vendors and other personnel.

o Contribute to the reputation of the organization by entering and achieving professional awards.

o Drive monthly sales of ₹3–4 crore+ and expand business across domestic and international markets.

o Lead, train, and motivate a 20+ member business development & marketing team, setting clear KPIs and ensuring CRM discipline. Represent the brand through exhibitions, trade shows, BTL activities, and market outreach.

o Coordinate with finance, marketing, dispatch, import–export, logistics, and warehousing for seamless operations.
