1 . Fabric Architect (Enterprise Data & Power BI Architecture Lead).

Role Summary:

Owns the end-to-end architecture across Databricks, Fabric, and Power BI. Ensures the Enterprise + Customer workspace model, mirroring strategy, and semantic layer are scalable, secure, and aligned with business use cases.

Key Responsibilities:

· Design and govern end-to-end data architecture:

o Databricks → Unity Catalog → Fabric (OneLake) → Power BI

· Define and enforce:

o Semantic Layer and use respective Fabric/Databricks technology to support and maintain Enterprise and Customer workspace

· Own data access patterns:

o Mirroring vs Direct Lake vs Import vs DirectQuery

· Establish performance strategy:

o Dataset design, aggregation, concurrency handling

· Ensure security architecture:

o Unity Catalog + Fabric + RLS/OLS alignment

· Define CI/CD pipelines (Dev → ACC → Prod)

· Validate architecture against use cases and scalability

Key Skills:

· Microsoft Fabric (OneLake, Direct Lake, Pipelines)

· Power BI semantic modeling (enterprise scale)

· Azure Databricks & Unity Catalog

· Data architecture patterns (lakehouse, medallion)

· Security models (RBAC, RLS, OLS)

· Performance tuning & large-scale BI systems
