The Role
We're looking for a Tech Lead to help build three new business lines from scratch e-commerce, Seva, and Kundali. You'll drive architecture and technical decisions for a growing team, working closely with product to ship things fast and well.
What You'll Do
- Drive system design and architecture for backend services transactional systems (payments, orders) and behavioral systems (personalization, engagement)
- Work hands-on with the team, guiding technical direction and unblocking delivery
- Partner with product to scope and ship features for a platform doing 300K+ DAU and 40-50K+ daily transactions
- Mentor engineers and raise the technical bar across the team
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years in backend engineering, some experience guiding or leading a small team
- Strong hands-on experience with Golang, Java, or Python
- Comfortable owning technical decisions rather than waiting for direction
- A B2C instinct you like moving fast, iterating based on real usage, and building without a perfect spec
- Solid grounding in distributed systems, APIs, and databases at scale
Nice To Have
- Docker/Kubernetes, observability tooling (Prometheus, Grafana)
- Experience at a consumer product company
