What will you do
- This is a senior backend engineering role focused on building scalable, reliable systems in a high-growth SaaS environment.
- Drive the design, development, and enhancement of core features and functionalities of the observability platform, leveraging modern technologies to deliver scalable and reliable solutions
- Act as a subject matter expert, guiding and mentoring a team of software engineers to achieve technical excellence and deliver high-quality code
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement robust, scalable, and efficient systems that meet the demands of a growing customer base
- Stay ahead of industry trends and emerging technologies, researching and experimenting with innovative solutions to enhance the observability platform
- Work closely with product managers, designers, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Proactively identify and address performance bottlenecks, apply optimizations, and maintain the stability and availability of the platform
- Foster a culture of continuous learning, improvement, and innovation within the engineering team
You Should Apply If
- You have 6+ years of experience in backend engineering roles
- Experience designing, developing, and maintaining backend services using Java and related frameworks (Spring / Spring Boot)
- Strong understanding of HTTP protocols and scalable REST API design
- Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL, Redis, Docker, message brokers, and GitHub workflows
- Strong focus on performance optimization, debugging, and log management across services
- Experience participating in code reviews, troubleshooting, and resolving production issues
- Exposure to improving deployment and containerization workflows
- Experience collaborating in a SaaS / product-based environment
- (Nice to have) Experience using AWS services to build and scale cloud-native solutions
