D365 F&O Functional Consultant

Role Overview

We are looking for a skilled Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O) Functional Consultant to implement, configure, and support ERP solutions that align with business requirements. The role involves working closely with stakeholders to translate requirements into functional specifications and ensure successful system deployment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from stakeholders
  • Configure and customize Dynamics 365 F&O modules (Finance, SCM, HR, etc.)
  • Conduct Fit-Gap analysis and propose optimal solutions
  • Prepare functional design documents (FDD) and system documentation
  • Collaborate with technical teams for customizations and integrations
  • Lead/work on implementation, upgrade, and support projects
  • Perform system testing (SIT/UAT) and support end-users during UAT
  • Provide training and knowledge transfer to business users
  • Troubleshoot and resolve functional issues post-implementation
  • Ensure best practices and compliance with Microsoft standards

Required Skills

  • Strong knowledge of D365 Finance & Operations (AX)
  • Expertise in one or more modules:
  • Finance (GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, Budgeting)
  • Supply Chain (Procurement, Inventory, Manufacturing)
  • Project Operations / HR
  • Experience in end-to-end implementation lifecycle
  • Understanding of business processes and ERP concepts
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Good communication & stakeholder management skills
  • Familiarity with Azure DevOps, LCS, and reporting tools (SSRS, Power BI)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business, Finance, IT, or related field
  • Microsoft certifications in Dynamics 365 F&O (preferred)
  • 4–10 years of ERP functional consulting experience
  • Experience in multi-country implementations is a plus
