- Inspect and verify dimensions, alignments, and clearances of finished parts using measuring instruments
- Repair and maintain dyes to ensure they are in good working condition
- Troubleshoot and identify problems in dyes and propose solutions
- Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to improve the performance of dyes
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to understand dye specifications
- Operate and maintain various tools and equipment necessary for the job and adhere to safety regulations
- Educational Qualifications and skills:
- Sheet line extrusion experience as a machine operator
- Working knowledge of diverse high-speed machinery and measurement tools (calliper, micrometre etc.)
- Understanding of production procedures
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics and manuals
- Analytical skills
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree is a plus.
