About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and entrepreneurial Exports Lead to drive and scale our international business. This role will be responsible for expanding global distribution, managing export operations, and building strong partnerships across key international markets. The ideal candidate will bring a blend of export expertise and domestic Modern Trade / KAM experience to enable seamless channel expansion and revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the export strategy across priority international markets
  • Identify and onboard distributors, partners, and retail channels globally
  • Manage end-to-end export operations, including documentation, compliance, logistics, and order fulfillment
  • Drive P&L ownership for export markets, ensuring revenue growth and profitability
  • Build and manage relationships with international distributors, retailers, and key accounts
  • Leverage prior Modern Trade / KAM experience to structure scalable distribution partnerships
  • Monitor global market trends, competition, and pricing to optimize market entry and expansion
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, import / export norms, and product standards in different geographies
  • Collaborate with internal teams (supply chain, marketing, finance) to ensure smooth execution
  • Track and report performance metrics, sales forecasts, and business insights

Preferred Skills & Know-how

  • Strong understanding of export regulations, documentation, and international logistics
  • Experience in handling global distributors and cross-border partnerships
  • Strong commercial acumen with exposure to pricing, margins, and P&L management
  • Familiarity with FMCG / D2C / Beauty & Personal Care industry (preferred)
  • Ability to navigate multi-market complexities and cultural nuances

Experience Requirements

  • 7–10 years of total experience
  • Minimum 3–4 years in Exports / International Business
