Job Overview
We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Export Sales Manager for the fabric industry. The candidate will be responsible for handling international sales, developing global client relationships, generating export business opportunities, and expanding the company's presence in overseas markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage export sales for fabric/textile products in international markets.
- Identify new business opportunities and generate leads through international buyers, distributors, and agents.
- Build strong relationships with overseas clients and maintain long-term partnerships.
- Handle complete export sales cycle from inquiry to order closure and shipment coordination.
- Conduct market research to understand global textile trends, competitor activities, and pricing.
- Coordinate with production, logistics, and documentation teams for smooth order execution.
- Participate in international trade fairs, exhibitions, and client meetings.
- Negotiate pricing, contracts, and payment terms with international customers.
- Ensure timely follow-up on quotations, samples, and payments.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, Textile, or related field.
- 3–4 years of experience in export sales within the fabric/textile industry.
- Strong understanding of international markets and export documentation.
- Good knowledge of woven, knitted, or processed fabrics.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to manage international clients and business development activities.
- Proficiency in MS Office, email communication, and CRM tools.
- Strong problem-solving and coordination abilities.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Experience working with international buyers and textile export houses.
- Knowledge of global fabric trends and sourcing markets.
- Ability to travel internationally if required.
