Export Sales Manager – International Business
Location: India, preferable- Hyderabad
Reporting To: Country Head
Role Summary
We are seeking a commercially astute and strategically driven Export Manager to lead the company's international business expansion across Asia and Africa. The role demands a high-impact professional with strong HVAC industry expertise, capable of driving market growth, building strategic partnerships, and delivering sustainable export revenue.
The incumbent will be responsible for strengthening the company's international presence through channel development, project sales, and customer acquisition while positioning the organization as a preferred HVAC and air distribution solutions provider in global markets.
Key Responsibilities
- International Business Growth and Market Development & Leadership.
- Develop and execute export growth strategies across Asia and Africa.
- Identify and establish distributors, channel partners, OEMs, consultants, and strategic accounts.
- Develop and manage relationships with exporters and traders based in India for sourcing, negotiations, and trade coordination.
- Experience in export documentation, logistics, and international business communication.
- Drive export sales to achieve revenue, profitability, and market expansion targets.
- Develop long-term business relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers.
- Knowledge of International shipping, customs paperwork, import/export documentation, taxes, duties, Incoterms, and logistics compliance for cross-border trade.
- Build country-specific market entry and expansion plans.
- Analyse market trends, competition, and emerging opportunities.
- Represent the company at international exhibitions, customer meetings, and industry platforms.
- Strengthen brand positioning and business visibility in target markets, technical & Commercial Management.
- Lead business development for the company's HVAC product portfolio, including: Duct Systems, Dampers, Attenuators / Silencers, VAV Systems, Other ADP Products
Additional responsibilities:
- Deliver techno-commercial solutions aligned with customer requirements.
- Lead negotiations, pricing discussions, and contract closures.
- Support project execution through close coordination with internal teams.
- Export Operations & Customer Excellence
- Oversee export operations, documentation, logistics, and compliance.
- Ensure timely order execution and customer satisfaction.
- Drive customer retention through proactive account management and after-sales support.
Candidate Profile
- Minimum 5 years of experience in export sales and international business development within HVAC / air distribution products.
- Strong exposure to US & UK (preferable), Asian and African markets.
- Proven track record in channel development, project sales, and market expansion.
- Strong commercial acumen, negotiation capability, and relationship management skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering preferably Mechanical and MBA- Marketing
- Willingness to travel internationally on a regular basis.
