JOB TITLE: Executive – Export Marketing
Location: Mumbai (with frequent international travel, primarily MENA region)
OVERVIEW
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Executive – Export Marketing to drive international market development while managing the export documentation, coordination, and regulatory support activities that underpin it. This is a dual-focus role: part business development (identifying and growing markets, managing distributor relationships) and part export operations (ensuring shipments move compliantly and on time). The ideal candidate combines commercial acumen for international markets with hands-on knowledge of pharma export processes and compliance documentation.
Key Responsibilities
Market Development & Business Growth
- Drive business development and market expansion activities, with a focus on the MENA region and other assigned international territories.
- Identify, evaluate, and appoint distributors/partners in target markets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, clients, and key stakeholders.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify growth opportunities.
- Support development and execution of market entry and expansion strategies for assigned regions.
- Travel as required across international markets for business development, partner meetings, and market visits.
- Monitor distributor performance against sales targets and business objectives.
- Represent the company at international trade fairs, exhibitions, and client meetings.
- Prepare regular reports on market insights, sales performance, and business opportunities.
- Coordinate with production, QA, and regulatory teams to ensure shipment readiness and compliance.
- Collaborate with internal sales, marketing, and logistics teams to ensure smooth order execution.
Required Skills & Experience
- Prior experience in handling MENA or other international markets preferred.
- Strong knowledge of export documentation, international shipping procedures, and pharma export norms (DGFT, customs, etc.).
- Understanding of distributor networks, market dynamics, and regional business practices.
- Proven ability to support market development, distributor management, and shipment/export coordination.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills; able to manage multiple shipments, markets, and deadlines simultaneously.
- Commercially minded with the ability to work independently and drive results.
- Willingness to travel frequently across international markets.
