Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Export Manager to lead and expand our international business operations in the FMCG food sector. The ideal candidate should have proven experience in export sales, international market development, and overseas client management, with a strong background in the food industry. The role requires extensive knowledge of export procedures, international trade regulations, and global market dynamics.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement export sales strategies to achieve international business growth.
- Identify, evaluate, and establish new business opportunities in global markets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with international distributors, importers, retailers, and key customers.
- Manage the complete export process, including order execution, documentation, logistics, and shipment coordination.
- Ensure compliance with international trade regulations, food safety standards, and import/export requirements.
- Negotiate commercial terms, pricing, contracts, and distribution agreements with overseas partners.
- Monitor international market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements.
- Coordinate with production, quality, supply chain, and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of export orders.
- Participate in international trade fairs, exhibitions, and business development events.
- Prepare export sales forecasts, reports, and market analysis for management review.
- Ensure achievement of export sales targets and revenue objectives.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, International Business, Marketing, Commerce, or a related field.
- Minimum 4–5 years of experience in Export Sales/International Business Development within the FMCG industry.
- Mandatory experience in the Food & Beverage sector.
- Proven experience in handling international markets and overseas customers.
- Strong understanding of export documentation, customs procedures, logistics, and international trade regulations.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in GCC, Middle East, Africa, Europe, or other international markets.
- Knowledge of food export regulations, certifications, and compliance standards.
- Strong business development and market expansion capabilities.
- Ability to work independently and achieve aggressive sales targets.
- Willingness to travel internationally as required.
