Role Overview
We are seeking an Expert Systems Engineer to lead cloud platform reliability, deployment automation, and operational maturity for our healthcare platform.
Core Responsibilities
- Lead architecture and improvements of cloud-based infrastructure environments
- Drive infrastructure automation using Infrastructure-as-Code and CI/CD pipelines
- Design and implement CI/CD pipelines to automate deployments
- Define monitoring, alerting, and observability strategies
- Drive improvements in cloud cost optimization and resource utilization
- Establish best practices for cloud security and operational governance
- Lead investigation and resolution of complex production incidents
- Partner with engineering teams to improve system reliability and performance
- Mentor Systems Engineers and guide operational practices
Mandatory Skills & Experience
- 7–10 years of experience managing cloud-hosted systems
- Strong experience designing and operating cloud infrastructure on AWS
- Strong familiarity with AWS services is preferred given the current platform
- Experience designing scalable and resilient cloud environments
- Strong experience implementing Infrastructure-as-Code using AWS CloudFormation or similar tools
- Hands-on experience managing Amazon RDS (MS SQL) and familiarity with Amazon Redshift or large-scale data systems
- Strong experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins
- Deep operational knowledge of Linux and Windows VM environments including troubleshooting and performance tuning
- Strong experience troubleshooting complex distributed systems
- Experience implementing monitoring, logging, and alerting systems
Good to Have
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code practices beyond CloudFormation
- Experience with container orchestration technologies
- Familiarity with healthcare technology environments
