Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for an Expert Senior Level+ MERN stack developer at Procure. The role involves developing and maintaining applications using MERN stack, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring code optimization for scalability and performance.

We need an expertsenior level+ full stack MERN developer to join our team.

Qualifications

• Expertise in MERN stack development
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Ability to collaborate with others
• Experience in optimizing code for scalability and performance
• Knowledge of DevOps tools and practices
• Experience with AWS cloud technologies
• Previous experience in a senior-level development role (6+ years)

Tech stack

• Structure: Micro-service architecture

• Front end: ReactJS

• Back end services: Typescript, with frameworks such as Koa, Express, Typegoose, etc.

• Our services communicate through gRPC protocol from within the cluster

• Storage layer: MySQL & MongoDB

• Development tools: JIRA, Github, Slack

Skills & Requirements

• Demonstrated expertise with JS, specifically MERN stack

• Proven experience as an efficient developer

• Able to create architectural patterns for a large, scalable web application

• Experience with GraphQL

• Experience with MySQL/RDS

• Experience with Github

• Experience with JIRA & AWS

• Experience writing Unit Tests for your work (We use Jest)

• Familiarity with CI/CD piplelines and automation tools

• Familiarity with AI/ML concepts and a strong interest in developing AI-driven features

Responsibilities/Requirements

• Attend daily stand-up meetings on Zoom at 3:30A (UTC). (Example: 8:30P MST, 9:00A PKT, 9:30A IST)

• Collaborate with our existing team in India (IST daytime), share knowledge and experience, conduct code reviews and architecture reviews, enforce software engineering best practices

• Write well-documented code and follow best practices to transfer knowledge among our team

• Write unit tests for your work product

• Be available full-time on IST timezone
