Job Description

  • Team Management:Building, coaching, and managing an MDM team, including work allocation, performance management, and developing team capabilities. Guide junior team members on technical tasks

  • Data Governance & Quality:Manage data governance frameworks, policies, and standards to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and compliance with regulations.

  • Operational Management:Managing daily, weekly, and monthly master data requests, ensuring adherence to SLAs/KPIs for data creation/update/obsolete processes. Troubleshoot and resolve MDM issues, perform rootcause analysis, and drive continuous improvements.

  • SAP Tool Expertise:Utilizing SAP tools such as SAP MDM (Master Data Management), data services, data validation, cleansing, and workflows.

  • Stakeholder Collaboration:Acting as a liaison between business stakeholders (Procurement, Finance, Supply Chain) and IT teams to align data strategies with business goals.

  • Process Improvement:Driving automation and efficiency through RPA, workflow tools, and process optimization.


Qualifications

Educational qualification:

  • Engineering degree (B.E./B.Tech) preferred.

  • SAP MM / S/4HANA Certification (preferred but not mandatory)

Experience :

7+ years of experience in SAP MDM, with at least 3+ years in a team lead or supervisory role.

Mandatory/requires Skills :
SAP Knowledge:Strong proficiency in SAP Master Data Management, specifically in S/4HANA , and familiarity with data domains (Business Partner, Material, Finance).

Technical Skills:Experience with Data Migration, Data Profiling, ETL processes, and SAP MDG/MDM technical configurations.

Stakeholder Management:Proven experience engaging senior business stakeholders, managing requirements, change, and roadmaps.

Soft Skills:Excellent leadership, communication, and conflict-resolution skills, with the ability to work in cross-functional, global environments.
