Job Description

Job Title: Expert GES S2P Invoice to Pay

Location: Hyderabad, India

This role is a critical part of the Global Enterprise Services (GES) function, driving excellence in the Invoice-to-Pay (I2P) process within the Source-to-Pay (S2P) framework. It focuses on ensuring accurate, compliant, and efficient invoice processing and payment operations, while enhancing vendor experience and operational efficiency.

The role offers an opportunity to work in a global, matrixed environment, lead process optimization and digital transformation initiatives, and play a key role in improving financial operations through automation, analytics, and best practices.

Your key responsibilities

  • Oversee the full invoice-to-pay lifecycle including invoice validation, exception handling, payment processing, and reconciliation.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives, focusing on standardization, efficiency gains, and automation (OCR, RPA, digital workflows).
  • Ensure adherence to internal controls, audit requirements, and regulatory compliances across all invoice and payment activities.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders and external vendors to resolve discrepancies, improve turnaround times, and ensure smooth operations.
  • Monitor KPIs such as cycle time, accuracy, and SLA adherence provide insights and recommend corrective actions.
  • Contribute to system implementations, process migration, and adoption of ERP/invoice automation tools in line with transformation goals.

You bring

  • Strong hands-on experience in invoice processing, payment cycles, and end-to-end payables operations.
  • Experience with systems such as SAP, Oracle, Ariba, Coupa, or similar invoice automation platforms.
  • Exposure to Lean, Six Sigma, or process optimization approaches with a track record of driving efficiencies.
  • Ability to analyze data, identify root causes, and implement process improvements.
  • Effective communication and collaboration with cross-functional teams and global stakeholders.
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Business, or related field (professional certifications like CA/CPA/ACCA are an advantage).
