Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site position for an experienced Surgery Coder based in Noida. In this role, the Surgery Coder will be responsible for accurately reviewing and coding surgery cases, ensuring adherence to standardized coding guidelines and regulatory requirements. The responsibilities include interpreting physicians documentation, applying correct medical codes, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to maintain the accuracy and integrity of health records. The Surgery Coder will also ensure compliance with the organization's quality and efficiency standards.
Qualifications
- Proven Coding Experience in surgical and procedural coding
- Knowledge of professional certifications such as RHIT and/or expertise in Health Information Management
- Comprehensive understanding of Medical Terminology as it relates to medical coding
- Proficiency in using Medical Coding systems and related tools
- Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and ability to maintain accuracy
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements and guidelines in health information management
- Bachelor's degree or relevant work experience; certification in medical coding or health information management is a plus
