Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the entire recruitment life cycle for US-based IT roles (sourcing, screening, interviewing, and closing).
  • Source candidates using job boards (Dice, Monster, CareerBuilder, Indeed, LinkedIn, etc.), networking, and referrals.
  • Screen candidates for technical skills, communication, and cultural fit.
  • Negotiate compensation, benefits, and employment terms with candidates (W2, 1099, C2C).
  • Build and maintain strong candidate pipelines for current and future requirements.
  • Collaborate with Account Managers and Clients to understand job requirements and deliver qualified candidates in a timely manner.
  • Ensure compliance with US hiring practices, immigration guidelines, and client requirements.

Required Qualifications

  • 25 years of experience as a US IT Recruiter in a staffing/consulting environment.
  • Proven track record of placing candidates in contract and full-time IT roles.
  • Strong knowledge of US tax terms (W2, 1099, C2C) and visa classifications (H1B, OPT, CPT, Green Card, US Citizen).
  • Experience with ATS (Applicant Tracking Systems) and recruitment tools.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work in US time zones (EST, CST, PST as required).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in VMS (Vendor Management System) based recruitment.
  • Established database of US IT consultants.
  • Familiarity with emerging IT technologies and niche skills.
