Who we are looking for

The Vice President - EIC will lead the design, governance, and delivery of enterprisewise expense reporting and analytics across the Expense Insight Centre (EIC). Reporting to the MD, EIC India, this role is accountable for establishing robust, scalable, and forwardlooking analytics that enable Business Unit (BU) Finance leaders and senior stakeholders to effectively manage P&Ls and make informed strategic decisions. The role partners closely with CFO organizations, FP&A, Insight Centers, GAO, procurement , Global Technology, and business leaders to standardize reporting, embed bestinclass analytics practices, and drive automation aligned with enterprise technology strategy.

What you will be responsible for

Expense Reporting & Analytics

  • Own consolidated expense analytics across all regions and business units, including planning, forecasting, and performance tracking.
  • Collaborate with CFO teams globally, across business units, LFO and Insight Centers, to deliver consistent, highquality, decisionready analytics.
  • Continuously rationalize and enhance existing reporting to align with evolving business needs.
  • Develop and implement driverbased analytics for each major expense category, delivering actionable insights into performance and underlying drivers.
  • Provide forwardlooking views to proactively identify risks, opportunities, and optimization levers for the remainder of the fiscal year. Proactively identify expense optimization opportunities in partnership with CFO teams.
  • Lead expense performance discussions with CFO teams, explaining variances versus targets and prior periods and proactively support in cost management.
  • Translate analytical insights into clear recommendations that support strategic and operational decisionmaking.

Automation & Technology Enablement

  • Partner with DART and Global Technology teams to deliver automated, scalable reporting and analytics solutions aligned with enterprise technology strategy.
  • Identify and execute opportunities to improve efficiency, accuracy, and timeliness through automation and advanced analytics.
  • Proactively partner across Finance teams to design and deliver a single, integrated digital solution that meets the needs of all Finance functions.

Stakeholder Partnership & Influence

  • Build strong, trusted relationships across CFO organizations, FP&A, Insight Centers, GAO, and business teams.
  • Act as a strategic thought partner to senior finance leadership, shaping how financial insights are used to drive business decisions.
  • Maintain deep understanding of CFO and business partner needs to continuously enhance analytical relevance and impact.

People & Talent Leadership

  • Lead, develop, and inspire a highperforming analytics organization.
  • Drive capability building through structured training, career development planning, and targeted skill enhancement (technical, strategic, and soft skills).
  • Foster an inclusive, diverse, and futureready talent pipeline.

Education & Preferred Qualifications

  • 10-15 years of progressive finance experience, preferably within a financial services environment. Prior State Street experience is an advantage.
  • Strong expertise in financial statements, cost management, and enterprisescale analytics.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate handson while leading complex, crossfunctional initiatives.
  • Proven track record of delivering results through influence and collaboration across global teams.
  • Exceptional analytical mindset with a proactive, problemsolving orientation. Excellent communication and executivelevel presentation skills.
  • Changeagent mindset with openness to feedback and adaptability in execution.
  • Must be able to shift easily between individual and team-oriented deliverables and groups, be a strong team player, leader, and client focused individual.
