Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Market Research & Analysis:
  • Conduct comprehensive market research to identify emerging trends, competitor activity, and potential areas for expansion across different business models.
  • Expansion Strategy:
  • Develop and implement effective business strategies that support the company's growth plans. This includes identifying high-potential locations and markets for expansion.
  • Investor Relations:
  • Proactively build relationships with potential investors. Prepare and present compelling business proposals to secure funding for expansion projects.
  • Site Selection & Location Analysis:
  • Evaluate and recommend new locations based on market conditions, demographics, and business potential. Lead the site selection process, ensuring optimal locations for growth.
  • Collaboration & Cross-functional Coordination:
  • Work closely with management, marketing, operations, and finance teams to ensure seamless execution of expansion plans.
  • Partnerships & Networking:
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key industry players, government officials, and local business leaders to facilitate market entry and expansion.
  • Performance Tracking:
  • Monitor the performance of expansion initiatives, making data-driven adjustments to ensure goals are being met.

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in business development in salon industry, expansion strategies, or market research.
  • Proven track record in identifying and capitalizing on business growth opportunities.
  • Strong experience in conducting market research and analysing data to support decision-making.
  • Excellent negotiation and presentation skills, with the ability to engage investors and stakeholders.
  • Strong understanding of market dynamics and salon industry trends across different business models.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to travel as required to evaluate potential expansion locations and meet with investors.
