Role Purpose

As a Tender Coordinator, you will lead the tendering process from start to finish, ensuring timely and compliant bid submissions that align with organizational goals. This role blends project management, strategic planning, technical acumen, and communication skills to secure vital government contracts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Tender Identification: Research tender opportunities aligned with the company's strategic goals.
  • Tender Evaluation: Analyze requirements, timelines, and evaluation criteria while assessing internal capabilities.
  • Detail-Oriented Documentation: Thoroughly review tender documents and communicate key insights to stakeholders.
  • Bid Planning & Proposal Preparation: Coordinate cross-functional teams to prepare compelling and compliant tender submissions.
  • Pricing Strategy: Work with the finance team to develop competitive pricing strategies.
  • Compliance: Ensure all documents meet regulatory and client guidelines.
  • Relationship Management: Build strong connections with tender authorities and partners to enhance credibility.
  • Post-Tender Analysis: Conduct reviews to identify improvements for future bids.
  • Market Intelligence: Stay updated on industry trends, competitors, and regulatory changes.
  • Reporting: Track and report on success rates, KPIs, and revenue generated from tenders.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Education: Bachelor's in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering (Master's preferred).
  • Experience: Proven interest or experience in tender management or bid preparation.
  • Skills:
  • Strong project management and multitasking abilities.
  • Exceptional communication (verbal and written).
  • Understanding of legal, financial, and technical aspects of tendering.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and relevant software.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Bonus: Certifications like PMP or CIPS.
