Plan, organize, and monitor the receiving, shipping, and storage, of all items either from suppliers or production shops ensuring a smooth and consistent operation so parts and supplies are located and distributed to proper departments in an effective and efficient manner as needed to satisfy internal and external customer requirements.
Plans and coordinates work, trains and motivates, monitors, and evaluates the performance of team members; ensures their ability to safely operate material handling equipment to move materials to and from storage configurations.
Monitors the unloading or loading of all materials into or out of the facility. Supervise the movement of material to and from storage efficiently, effectively, and safely.
Identify and eliminate safety and housekeeping hazards to minimize workplace accidents
