The Public Health Foundation of India (PHFI) is working towards building a healthier India. It is helping to address the limited institutional and systems capacity in India by strengthening education and training, advancing research and technology and facilitating policy and practice in the area of Public Health. PHFI is headquartered in New Delhi with national presence through its constituent units of regional Indian Institutes of Public Health (IIPHs) and Centers of Applied Research in core public health themes. The Foundation, established in 2006 as a public private initiative, is governed by an independent board comprising of senior government officials, eminent Indian and International academic and leaders, civil society representatives and corporate leaders. Project Brief
Diabetes is one of the fastest growing global health emergencies of the 21st century. India accounted for 74.1 million people with diabetes in the year 2021 which is expected to rise to 124.8 million by 2045. Diabetes has a substantial economic impact on individuals, families, countries and national health systems because of an increased burden on health systems, loss of productive life years and the long-term support needed to overcome diabetes related complications.
In 2010, Training Division, PHFI launched a nationwide capacity-building program Certificate Course in Evidence Based Diabetes Management (CCEBDM) in collaboration with Dr. Mohan's Diabetes education academy (DMDEA), to provide training in diabetes management, by enhancing knowledge, skills, and core competencies of Primary care physicians (PCPs). It is a uniquely designed, 11 modular course with once-a-month, weekend training session.
Job Summary
The position requires to work closely with technical team in assisting with project execution, maintaining communication with stakeholders and handling routine administrative tasks.

Deliverables
The Executive/Sr. Executive will be responsible for a variety of program administrative activities for ongoing capacity building programs. Major duties and responsibilities include
- Raise purchase orders (POs), process vendor payments, reconcile accounts, and prepare basic financial vouchers.
- Arrange travel itineraries, hotel bookings, cab bookings etc through designated travel vendors for the team.
- Maintain up-to-date physical and digital filing systems, log registers, and stock inventory for office.
- Participate in organizing training workshops in different states including arranging for travel of team, faculty and other experts.
- Travel along with team members to support all admin related activities in training workshops/conferences/meetings.
- All day to day office operations.
- Any other task as assigned by the PI.
Essential:
- Bachelor's degree in any field.
- Any combination of training and or experience which demonstrate ability to perform these duties is desirable.

- 2 to 3 years of relevant experience

- Computer proficiency with commonly used software such as Microsoft Office
