Executive / Senior Executive - Indirect Procurement

Hiring: Indirect Procurement Professional | Daman Plant | Zydus Lifesciences

Zydus Lifesciences is looking for an experienced Procurement professional to join our Daman Plant team.

Position: Executive / Senior Executive - Indirect Procurement

Location: Daman

Experience: 5+ Years

Qualification: BE (Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics) and/or MBA in Material Management

Key Responsibilities:

• Procurement of engineering spares, machines, consumables, services, QC chemicals, and QC consumables.
• Preparation of RFQs/tenders and obtaining competitive quotations.
• Techno-commercial evaluation and comparison of supplier offers.
• Conversion of PRs into POs as per approved recommendations.
• Vendor evaluation and performance monitoring.
• Ensuring timely delivery and procurement compliance.
• Maintaining procurement documentation, contracts, and records.

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of pharma machinery, utilities, HVAC, Boiler, Water Treatment Systems, BMS, QC equipment, LT/HT systems, and DG sets.
• Strong negotiation and analytical skills.
• Experience with SAP MM Module and MS Office.
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional stakeholders.

Pharma industry experience will be preferred.
