Position: Sales Representative

Role Summary

The Sales Representative will be responsible for driving sales of premium audio, video, home theatre, and home automation solutions through showroom sales, field visits, and lead follow-ups. The role requires strong customer engagement skills, solution-based selling capability, and coordination with internal teams to ensure smooth order execution and collections.

Key ResponsibilitiesSales & Business Development
  • Achieve assigned monthly and quarterly sales targets (value-based).
  • Handle walk-in customers at the showroom and convert inquiries into sales.
  • Follow up on inbound leads generated through digital platforms, referrals, and campaigns.
  • Conduct field visits to meet architects, interior designers, builders, and key customers.
  • Promote premium brands and explain technical features, benefits, and system integration.
Customer Relationship Management
  • Understand customer requirements and recommend appropriate audio-video and automation solutions.
  • Prepare quotations in coordination with the back-office and ensure timely closure.
  • Build long-term relationships with customers, architects, and designers.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and repeat business.
Order Execution & Coordination
  • Coordinate with technical, installation, and delivery teams for smooth execution of orders.
  • Ensure timely collection of payments as per company policy.
  • Track outstanding payments and follow up for closures.
Reporting & Compliance
  • Maintain accurate records of leads, sales, follow-ups, and collections.
  • Submit daily and weekly sales activity reports to the Store Manager / Sales Head.
  • Adhere strictly to company pricing, discounting, and credit policies.
Desired Candidate Profile
  • Minimum2 years of experiencein retail or field sales (electronics, lifestyle products, interiors, or premium consumer goods preferred).
  • Exposure toaudio-video, home theatre, automation, electronics, or allied industrieswill be an advantage.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to understand technical products and explain them clearly to customers.
  • Self-driven, target-oriented, and comfortable with both showroom and field sales.
  • Basic computer skills (CRM, Excel, email).
  • Two-wheeler preferred for local travel within Kolkata.
