The position in discussion is with the Managed Services team, part of our Consulting team.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

Financial & Management Reporting

Prepare and maintain periodic MIS reports (monthly/quarterly/annual) for management review
Support preparation of P&L, cost center reports, variance analysis, and dashboards
Ensure timely and accurate closing of books in coordination with accounting teams
Assist in preparation of budget vs actual analysis and management presentations

Cost Accounting

Maintain and analyze cost structures, including product, project, process, or departmental costs
Track and analyze standard vs actual costs, identify variances, and provide actionable insights
Support cost allocation, absorption, and apportionment across departments/projects
Identify opportunities for cost optimization and efficiency improvements

Controls, Compliance & Audit Support

Ensure adherence to internal controls, SOPs, and accounting policies
Support internal and statutory audits by providing required data, schedules, and explanations
Assist in compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulatory requirements

Qualifications

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance
CA /CA Inter / CMA Inter / MBA (Finance) - preferred
2-6 years of relevant experience in reporting, cost accounting, or management accounting

Key Skills & Competencies

Strong understanding of cost accounting concepts and management reporting
Proficiency in MS Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables); ERP knowledge preferred
Analytical mindset with attention to detail
Ability to interpret data and communicate insights clearly
Good coordination and stakeholder management skills
