Executive - Rail Operations - Rail & Inland Terminals

Key Responsibilities:

.Monitor rake movements and operational activities closely to ensure smooth, efficient, and uninterrupted functioning.
.Coordinate with the IR serving station, Kolkata dock and associated divisions for timely placement, release, examination, and departure of rakes.
.Ensure continuous coordination with transporters and customers to ensure timely movement and delivery of containers as per daily requirements in coordination with Transport team.
.Maintain complete records of container inventory, gate-in/gate-out movements, and document tracking such as LR copies, weighment slips, e-way bills, and invoices.
.Planning for cleaning and washing, coordination for repair of containers, and ensuring loading on trains as per destination requirements.
.Liaise with other divisions and departmental teams to ensure seamless and uninterrupted train operations.
.Work closely with the Railway Mechanical team at Kolkata for timely rake examination and to maintain all required documentation.
.Maintain an updated record of all detached wagons and ensure proper tracking and attachment with the mother rake within specified SLAs.
.Ensure timely completion of operational and commercial activities for rake arrival and dispatches in FOIS.
.Prepare Railway Receipts (RRs) accurately and ensure their timely submission to the corporate office.
.Submit comprehensive daily reports to headquarters on rake operations, inventory status, mechanical condition, and commercial performance.

Education
Graduate or equivalent from a reputed University

Experience
Minimum 3 years proven experience in Rail and PFT

Technical Skills

Good knowledge on the Rail operations, Railways norms and trade practices. Strong interpersonal skills and communication with Indian Railways.
