About the Position

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Quality Assurance Associate

to support and strengthen our laboratory Quality Management System. The role

involves ensuring compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards,

maintaining robust documentation practices, supporting audits, and driving

continuous quality improvement across all laboratory functions.

Job Requirements and Required Skills:

  • Quality Management & Compliance
  • Demonstrate working knowledge of quality standards such as ISO 15189:2022 (NABL), CAP, and GLP.
  • Support the implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the Quality Management System (QMS) across the laboratory.
  • Act as a backup to the Quality Manager and assist in quality-related decisionmaking.
  • SOP & Document Control
  • Prepare, review, update, and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)

related to QA and General activities.

  • Review SOPs from all functional departments to ensure compliance and consistency.
  • Coordinate issuance, distribution, revision, and withdrawal of controlled documents.
  • Maintain the Master List of SOPs and Enclosures.
  • Ensure SOPs are reviewed within the defined frequency as per SOP requirements.
  • Verify documents prior to archival and ensure proper document retention practices.
  • Audit & Inspection Support
  • Assist in planning and conducting internal audits.
  • Support preparation of audit findings, root cause analysis (RCA), and corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
  • Participate in supplementary audits to ensure closure of non-conformities.
  • Assist in reporting audit outcomes to auditees and management.
  • Interact with customers and external parties during vendor inspections and audits.
  • Training & Awareness
  • Assist in conducting training programs for laboratory staff on quality systems, SOPs, and compliance requirements.
  • Support maintenance of training records and documentation.
  • Data Review & Quality Monitoring
  • Inspect and verify kit validation and related quality records.
  • Monitor and track sample rejections, monthly sample volumes, and quality trends.
  • Prepare quality metrics and summary reports for management review.
  • Documentation & Records Management
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date QA files, records, and in-house documents.
  • Prepare and circulate Minutes of Meeting (MoM) and ensure proper follow-up on action items.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Microbiology, or related
  • field.
  • 1– 3 years of experience in Quality Assurance within a diagnostic, clinical, or
  • research laboratory.
  • Strong understanding of ISO 15189 (NABL), GLP, CAP, and laboratory
  • accreditation requirements.
  • Excellent documentation, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across departments and manage multiple priorities.
