Quality Assurance & Process Monitoring

• Verify the testing process for raw materials, packaging materials, in-process products, and finished products against approved specifications

.• Verify and maintain batch manufacturing records and processes.

• Validate and verify product manufacturing processes.

• Monitor production activities to ensure approved manufacturing methods are followed and customer quality specifications are met.

• Ensure production and quality processes, equipment, and the working environment support the manufacture of high-quality products

Verify all records related to in-process quality control operations.

Food Safety & Compliance

• Implement and maintain the HACCP system.

• Monitor the implementation of Critical Control Points (CCPs) on the shop floor at defined frequencies.

• Ensure compliance with all statutory and FSSAI requirements, including water testing, equipment calibration, and other regulatory activities.

• Manage the revision, amendment, and document control of the Food Safety Management System (FSMS) and Quality Assurance System.

• Take appropriate actions to ensure compliance with FSMS requirements.

Audits & Documentation

• Conduct internal and external audits as per the audit schedule.

• Maintain complete product traceability records.

• Ensure all non-conformance documentation is prepared, reviewed, and processed accurately for every rejected product.

Non-Conformance & Continuous Improvement

• Ensure rejected products and non-conformances are addressed on priority and relevant stakeholders are informed.

• Handle customer complaints by conducting root cause analysis (RCA) and implementing corrective and preventive actions.

• Convene meetings for corrective actions, preventive actions, and non-conformance reviews as required.

Maintenance & Operational Excellence

• Monitor preventive maintenance activities and maintain related records.

• Monitor the effectiveness of cleaning schedules at defined intervals and revise them whenever necessary.

• Prepare work instructions for machine and equipment operation and cleaning.

Vendor & Team Management

• Maintain vendor performance records and escalate recurring quality issues to management.

• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure all processes are executed as per SOPs.

• Provide quality, food safety, and SOP training to shop floor employees.
