Qualification & Experience:
Graduate with 23 years of experience in Production Planning and Control.
Prior experience in the embroidery or apparel manufacturing industry is preferred.
Required Skills and Responsibilities:
Strong proficiency in MS Excel and production data analysis.
Good command of English (written and verbal communication).
Strong coordination, planning, and follow-up skills.
Ability to work closely with senior management and cross-functional teams.
Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
Job Description:
Order Management & Planning
Act as the single point of contact for all orders status updates.
Enter customer orders into the ERP/system and commit realistic delivery dates based
on manpower availability, design complexity, and process capability.
Prepare detailed production plans for embroidery, sampling, bulk production, and
finishing stages.
Production Control & Monitoring
Maintain and regularly update the Production Planning Chart
Monitor daily WIP, output, and manpower utilization and share MIS reports with the
COO and management.
Ensure production activities are executed as per approved production plans and
customer deliverables.
Set daily and weekly production targets and ensure achievement within stipulated
time and cost parameters.
Pre-Production & Risk Management
Identify and forecast pre-production and production gaps such as delays in artwork
approvals, sampling, raw material availability, machine breakdowns, or manpower
shortages.
Coordinate corrective actions with merchandising, production and quality teams to
minimize delays.
Ensure all buyer approvals (artwork, strike-offs, samples, shades, trims) are obtained
within target timelines.
Reporting & Data Analysis
Prepare and analyze daily, weekly, and monthly production MIS using MS Excel (Pivot
Tables, VLOOKUP, data compilation).
Track KPIs such as on-time delivery, production efficiency, WIP levels, and order
completion status.
Coordination & Communication
Work closely with the COO, factory in charge, merchandising, sampling, production,
quality, and dispatch teams to ensure smooth order flow.
Communicate production status, risks, and priorities clearly to internal teams and
management.
Execute any other duties entrusted by the management that align with the role and
organizational objectives.
