Job Description

We are working to increase vehicle safety by developing seatbelts, airbags and steering wheels and you can be part of our team as Executive – Process Quality (INBA).

In this role you will be responsible for handling shop floor quality issues, driving process compliance and ensuring adherence to Autoliv standards. You will need to deliver timely resolution of quality concerns, reduce DPMU levels and ensure zero customer complaints.

Should you be interested in overseeing these tasks and aiming for enhanced performance standards, your role will involve:

Responsibilities

  • Daily analysis of top 3 rejections and update DPMU tracking
  • Attend Jidoka alerts and resolve line quality issues promptly
  • Basic problem analysis and implementation of corrective actions
  • Ensure compliance to Autoliv Standards (AS) and IATF requirements
  • Conduct process audits, product audits and layout inspections as per plan
  • Review, create and validate MVP and master samples
  • Maintain readiness of AS07 documentation for customer requirements
  • Follow up and close AS412 and ALIS escalations
  • Ensure inspection reports are prepared and shared (daily/monthly)
  • Support process capability improvement initiatives
  • Drive operator awareness on quality standards and customer complaints
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams for quality improvements

If You Have/are

Skills & Experience:

  • 6–10 years of experience in shop floor process quality (automotive industry)
  • Hands-on experience in assembly, molding, and welding processes (Laser, Friction welding)
  • Strong problem-solving and defect analysis skills
  • Knowledge of core quality tools: Control Plan, PPAP, PFMEA, SPC, APQP
  • Understanding of IATF 16949 QMS requirements
  • Hands-on experience with measuring instruments (Vernier, gauges, height gauge)
  • Strong understanding of 2D drawings and GD&T
  • Good working knowledge of MS Office tools
