Role Overview
The Packaging Specification role is responsible for creating, managing, and maintaining packaging specifications to ensure accuracy, compliance, quality standards, and smooth coordination across cross-functional teams.
Preferred Experience
- 2–6 years of experience in Packaging Specification, Packaging Development, or related packaging functions.

Key Responsibilities
- Create and maintain packaging specifications for primary, secondary, and tertiary packaging materials.
- Coordinate with Packaging Development, Artwork, Regulatory, Quality, Procurement, and Supply Chain teams.
- Ensure packaging specifications comply with regulatory, legal, and brand requirements.
- Manage specification data in systems/tools such as SAP, PLM, or specification management software.
- Review packaging artworks and technical details for accuracy.
- Support packaging change management and product launch activities.
- Maintain documentation and version control of packaging specifications.
- Work closely with vendors and manufacturing teams for specification alignment.
- Ensure timely closure of specification-related queries and approvals.
Required Skills
- Knowledge of packaging materials, especially flexible and rigid packaging.
- Understanding of packaging components, dimensions, and technical drawings.
- Good coordination and stakeholder management skills.
- Attention to detail and documentation accuracy.
- Experience with SAP/PLM/specification management tools is preferred.
Preferred Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Packaging Technology, Printing Technology, Food Technology, Chemistry, or related field.
