Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Executive Engineer MV GIS to lead execution engineering activities for Medium Voltage Gas Insulated Switchgear (MV GIS) projects. The role involves in-house engineering, preparation of detailed execution plans and drawings, compliance with applicable standards, and coordination to ensure timely project delivery while safeguarding project margins.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Execute engineering activities for MV GIS projects, ensuring adherence to technical and contractual requirements
- Prepare detailed engineering drawings, execution plans, and documentation
- Ensure compliance with latest IEC / IEEE standards applicable to MV switchgear
- Utilize engineering software such as E-Base, AutoCAD, and E-Plan for design and documentation
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to secure necessary approvals from concerned authorities
- Ensure timely release of engineering documents to factory for production
- Monitor project progress to maintain / improve booking margins
- Support claim management activities and address contract-related technical matters
- Identify and resolve execution challenges to ensure smooth project delivery
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering
- Minimum 5 years of experience in MV product engineering (preferably MV GIS)
- Strong knowledge of IEC / IEEE standards for MV switchgear
- Proficiency in E-Base, AutoCAD, and E-Plan
- Good understanding of project execution, documentation, and contract management
- Strong coordination and problem-solving skills
