Job Description
Job Purpose:
To support the effective administration of Student Affairs by managing student engagement
activities, co-curricular and extracurricular programmes, student clubs and committees, and
student support initiatives, while ensuring a positive and well-organised campus experience.
Key Responsibilities
A. Student Engagement & Support
Serve as a point of contact for students regarding Student Affairs-related matters, activities,
and routine queries.
Facilitate resolution of student concerns by directing them to the appropriate institutional
authority or department and following up where required.
Support student orientation, induction, engagement, welfare, and campus experience
initiatives.
Collect student feedback and assist in identifying areas requiring attention or improvement.
B. Student Activities & Events
Plan and execute co-curricular and extracurricular activities, competitions, celebrations,
workshops, and other student programmes.
Maintain and monitor the annual student activity calendar.
Manage event requirements including registrations, venues, logistics, attendance, permissions,
equipment, and other arrangements.
Ensure completion of event-related records, reports, photographs, feedback, and other
required documentation.
C. Student Clubs & Committees
Facilitate the functioning of student clubs, committees, and student-led initiatives.
Maintain records of club memberships, activities, participation, and achievements.
Ensure approved student-led activities are conducted in accordance with institutional policies
and guidelines.
D. Student Communication
Prepare and disseminate student-related notices, announcements, schedules, invitations, and
other official communications through approved channels.
Maintain timely and accurate information relating to student activities and programmes.
E. Administration & Records
Maintain student activity records, databases, calendars, attendance, reports, and other relevant
documentation.
Prepare periodic reports and updates for the reporting manager.
Maintain appropriate records of student-related requests, activities, and outcomes.
Ensure compliance with institutional policies, procedures, and administrative guidelines.
F. External & Institutional Support
Liaise with external vendors, service providers, and event partners for approved student
activities, wherever required.
Support institutional initiatives and other student-related assignments entrusted by the
reporting manager.
4. Educational Qualification:
Essential: Graduate in any discipline from a recognised university/institution.
Desirable: Postgraduate qualification in Management, Education, Psychology, Social Sciences,
Administration, or a related field.
. Experience:
3–4 years of relevant experience in student affairs, OSA, educational institutions, event
management, campus operations, or a related field.
