Job Description

Primary functions:

To conduct the Microbiological sampling and analysis for Raw Material, Packing Material, In process product, Finished Product, Environmental Monitoring samples as per sample plan and conduct the test according to AN methods and BIS and report the results.

Jhagadia site will have wet processing section, Evaporator section, Drier section, Dry blending section and water system, the incombat will have to provide microbiological sampling & analysis and feedback support to all the sections of manufacturing in the shifts

Major Responsibilites:

u2022Responsible to collect the raw ingradients, EMP(Environmental monitoring program)sample, Packaging, in process samples and finished product samples as per sampling plan and conduct the testing as per AN methods for salmonella,Enterobacter sakazakii,Escherichia coli,Total bacterial count,Staphylococcus aureus,shigella,Listeria monocytogen,coliforms and various yeast & mold.

u2022 Responsible for testing of all finished product manufactured at at JH site as per BIS and methods to release the batches.

u2022 Responsible for preparation and sterilization microbiological media according to AN and BIS methods requirement and conduct growth promotion testing as per AN method and record the results.

u2022Resonsible for Decontamination of Biohazard waste generated from micro lab.

u2022Responsible for conduct the routine calibration / Verification for glassware and equipments.

u2022Responsible for compositing the FP and RM as per method followed by GLP.

u2022 To support for validation, calibration , Preventive maintainance actvity as require. Strictly follow the GDP to avoid the errors during documentation.

u2022Maintain the 6S in Micro lab and supporting areas religiously

u2022Maintain the raw data EMP,FP,RM IP,and adhoc test samples for respective test parmeters and record keeping.

Education Background:

u2022Post graduate in Microbiology / Dairy Microbiology with 5-10 years experience in food industry or Phrama or equivalent industry. Hands on experience on BAM, APHA,AOAC and BIS microbiological methods forNutritional powders. Knowledge of microbiological procedures/ operating methods of equipments and Food Safety Management Systems. Knowledge of QA checks regarding RM,PM, IP, FM and EMP checks.Knowledge of safety aspects of Micro Lab and GLP req
