Job Summary
The Merchandiser is responsible for managing client orders from initial inquiry through final delivery, ensuring quality, accuracy, and timely completion. In addition, the role involves planning, producing, and maintaining stock items for the store to support daily sales and seasonal demand. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to balance custom client work with in-store inventory production.
Key Responsibilities
Client Order Management (End-to-End)
Receive and review client orders, confirming specifications, quantities, timelines, and pricing
Communicate with clients regarding order details, updates, and approvals
Plan and execute the full order process from design to production and completion
Ensure all client orders meet quality standards and brand guidelines
Track order progress and meet agreed delivery deadlines
Coordinate packaging and preparation of completed orders for pickup or delivery
Handle any order adjustments, issues, or after-sales follow-ups professionally
Stock Production & Inventory
Produce merchandise pieces for store stock according to sales trends and demand
Maintain appropriate stock levels to support daily sales and peak seasons
Ensure consistency, quality, and presentation of all stock items
Assist with stock planning and replenishment based on sales data and store needs
Label, price, and prepare stock items for display or sale
Quality Control & Store Support
Conduct quality checks on all completed pieces (client orders and stock items)
Ensure merchandise is presented attractively and aligned with store standards
Support visual merchandising and product organization when required
Assist with stock counts, inventory tracking, and reporting
Collaboration & Administration
Work closely with sales staff, management, and production teams
Maintain accurate records of orders, materials used, and inventory levels
Follow company procedures for production, safety, and quality assurance
