Executive - IT

Job Summary

An Executive - IT is responsible for managing and overseeing the day-to-day IT operations of an organization, ensuring that the organization's technology infrastructure is secure, efficient, and reliable. The primary duties of an Executive - IT may include:

• Developing and implementing IT policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure the security and integrity of the organization's technology infrastructure.
• Managing and supervising IT staff, including hiring, training, and evaluating employees to ensure that the IT team is functioning effectively.
• Overseeing the organization's computer networks, servers, and other hardware to ensure that they are operating efficiently and meeting the organization's needs.
• Managing the organization's software applications, including ensuring that they are updated and running smoothly and that appropriate security measures are in place.
• Planning and overseeing the organization's technology budget to ensure that resources are allocated effectively and that the organization is getting the best value for its technology investments.
• Maintaining relationships with IT vendors and service providers to ensure that the organization is receiving high-quality services at a reasonable cost.
• Developing disaster recovery and business continuity plans to ensure that the organization's technology infrastructure can quickly recover from unforeseen events or disasters.
