Job Summary
We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Interior Designer with 3–4 years of experience to join our design team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transforming architectural drawings into effective lighting layouts, preparing design presentations, and supporting project execution from concept to installation.
This role requires strong design sensibility, technical expertise, and the ability to collaborate with architects, builders, and internal teams to deliver exceptional lighting solutions.
Responsibilities
- Develop creative and functional lighting concepts based on architectural drawings and project requirements.
- Prepare detailed lighting layouts and working drawings using AutoCAD.
- Create mood boards and presentation materials to effectively communicate design concepts to clients.
- Select and recommend suitable lighting fixtures from European, Indian, and DEFA's in-house lighting brands based on project requirements.
- Prepare accurate Bills of Quantities (BOQs) using Microsoft Excel.
- Coordinate with architects, builders, vendors, and internal teams to ensure timely project execution.
- Research the latest lighting trends, products, materials, and industry innovations.
- Support project discussions by presenting lighting concepts and product recommendations.
- Conduct site visits during installation to ensure execution aligns with the approved lighting design and resolve any on-site design-related issues.
- Maintain project documentation and ensure design deliverables meet quality standards and timelines.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree 3-4 years of experience in related field
- Proficient in AutoCAD & Adobe Photoshop
- Working knowledge of Sketchup & Microsoft Office suite
- Strong creative and communication skills
