Business Title Executive - Industry Research- BAO
Hybrid working model, during work from home (WFH) phase candidates should have continuous stable internet connectivity (broadband) and Laptop/ PC for working, minimum 100 MBPS needed.
Location: Pune, Maharashtra.
Education: Bachelor's degree/Any PG (Any stream, though BBA/Commerce preferred).
Experience: 13 years of experience in primary research / telephonic interviews / cold calling
Work Profile:
- Identify relevant industry players or company representatives through market research, and internal databases.
- Conduct cold calls to gather insights and validations from Industry players.
- Ask structured questions and record accurate, relevant insights during conversations.
- Document insights in a structured format and summarize findings.
- Coordinate with the analytics team to align sourcing efforts with research needs.
- Work closely with the research team to refine calling scripts and insight-gathering techniques.
- Summarize and document findings in a clear format for internal use.
- Maintain daily tracker of outreach, responses, updated call logs and contact databases.
- Stay updated on industry developments to understand context and improve conversation quality.
- Work directly with managers and stakeholders to understand and support their requirements.
- Execute Ad hoc tasks that involve using Excel and other in-house tools, relating to Primary and Secondary Research.
Skills Required:
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Comfort with cold outreach and building rapport quickly.
- Ability to confidently approach new people and handle rejections professionally.
- Ability to identify key stakeholders and relevant industry players.
- Prior experience in primary research, customer calling, or industry outreach.
- Basic understanding of research processes or interest in learning across domains.
- Self-starter with strong ownership and persistence.
- Exposure to B2B calling and primary research to support calls.
- Understanding of industry classification and quick learning ability across sectors.
- Working knowledge of MS Excel and basic documentation skills.
