Strategic Roles & Responsibilities
- Timely preparation of all statutory compliance reports, MIS and monthly department data and records.
- Preparation of plantation related documents such as year wise plants data, mortality data, damaged plants detail due to natural calamities etc. PPT- Preparation of various PPT such as BRM, before after PPT, CASWRM etc.
- Implement safety requirement of department. Coordinating & organizing DSSC, Surkashya Sambad & safety training to the workers to create a safe horticulture within the port.
- Ensuring Horticulture development by third party as per schedule.
- Supervise the horticultural activities at port and ensure continual improvement in various horticultural activities.
- Prepare training plan for team members and contractual employees.
- Promoting the biodiversity related works such as identification of local flora and fauna and prepare the documents as per requirement.
- Take initiatives for mangrove conservation.
- Take initiative on sustainable project like organic cultivation promotion & Renewable work promotion etc.
- Maintaining all document pertaining to Horticulture data.
- Assisting the line manager in External & Internal audits as well as in day-to-day activity.
- Ensuring compliance related to greenbelt development to all statutory clearance conditions
- Preparation of horticulture plants stock data, allot it to various stakeholders as per departmental instruction and send the actual data to department on timely basis.
- Monitoring and Maintenance of green zone areas (Landscape area and Plantation area -110 Ha) as per the port SOP.

- To promote learning of all employees & ensure development of key identified talent.
- Develop leadership skills & build talent capability.
- Demonstrate & promote collaborative behaviors in all interactions with other leaders, within own team and other teams.

Job Profile
Educational Qualification: B.Sc./M.Sc.-Agriculture/Horticulture/ Or Equivalent Qualification
Experiences: 4-8 years in Horticulture field in any Industry/Port
