Job Description

Key Responsibilities

1. HSE Management System Implementation

  • Ensure compliance with ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards.
  • Support documentation, audits, and continuous improvement of HSE systems.
  • Track and close HSE-related actions and non-conformities.

2. Safety Monitoring & Compliance

  • Conduct regular safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory regulations and company standards.
  • Monitor permit-to-work systems and high-risk activities.

3. Incident Management

  • Report, investigate, and analyse incidents and near misses.
  • Identify root causes and ensure timely corrective and preventive actions.

4. Hazard Identification & Risk Control

  • Facilitate hazard identification programs and ensure closure of reported hazards.
  • Maintain risk registers and ensure mitigation measures are implemented.

5. Training & Awareness

  • Conduct HSE trainings, toolbox talks (TBTs), and awareness sessions.
  • Prepare and deliver impactful presentations using MS PowerPoint for safety campaigns, inductions, and management reviews.
  • Promote safety culture initiatives and employee engagement programs.

6. Environmental Management

  • Monitor waste management, emissions, and resource utilization.
  • Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and sustainability initiatives.

7. Emergency Preparedness

  • Support emergency response planning and conduct mock drills.

8. Reporting & Documentation

  • Maintain HSE records, reports, and dashboards.
  • Prepare data-driven reports using MS Excel (charts, pivot tables, trend analysis).
  • Develop professional presentations and reports using MS Office tools for management review meetings.

Key Skills & Competencies

  • Strong knowledge of HSE regulations and ISO standards
  • Risk assessment and incident investigation skills
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Strong presentation and communication skills (ability to present to senior management)
  • Data analysis and reporting capability
  • Problem-solving and analytical thinking

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science / Engineering / Safety / Industrial Safety
  • 2-5 years of relevant HSE experience
  • NEBOSH / IOSH / Diploma in Industrial Safety preferred
