Propose an establish a relevant structure for the India BD function
Formulate and execute comprehensive business development strategies to expand Amneal's footprint in India
Identify and evaluate new market opportunities, unmet needs, therapeutic segments, and growth areas in India
Assess the viability and commercial potential of seeding new-to-market specialty drugs based on epidemiological data, treatment protocols, and healthcare infrastructure readiness
Develop strategic partnerships with healthcare providers, government institutions, and care networks to strengthen market position
Create and execute India-specific go-to-market strategies aligned with regional healthcare infrastructure and patient demographics
Build relationships with key stakeholders including doctors, hospital administrators, procurement committees, and healthcare policymakers
Identify opportunities for first-mover advantage in emerging therapy areas and novel treatment modalities entering the Indian market
Market Access & New Product Introduction
Design and implement market access strategies for new oncology, Neurology, rare diseases, GLP products entering the Indian market, with special focus on specialty drugs in white space therapeutic areas
Navigate the regulatory, reimbursement, and institutional formulary landscape to ensure product availability and adoption
Develop pricing and market access frameworks that balance affordability with commercial viability in the Indian context, particularly for high-value specialty products
Build clinical evidence generation plans and real-world data collection strategies to support adoption of new-to-India specialty products
Create physician education and training programs to facilitate adoption of novel therapies and treatment protocols in white space areas
Driving revenues through strategic partnerships with CDMO and CMO
Formulating the new launches strategy and for all BUs, for India Market
Evaluate licensing opportunities from Indian and global pharma companies.
Manage technical and commercial due diligence, pricing, and ROI assessment.
Negotiate term sheets and finalize agreements with legal and regulatory input.
Coordinate with R&D, regulatory, supply chain, and marketing teams to align business goals with new product introductions (NPIs).
Build and maintain a robust pipeline of products across key therapeutic areas.
Develop long-term relationships with partners and CMOs.
Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and business meetings.
Work closely with medical, regulatory, legal, marketing, manufacturing, and finance teams to ensure smooth execution of BD projects.
Monitor project timelines and resolve issues impacting launch readiness.

Drive overall business performance for the Oncology BU with P&L responsibility
Work closely with the field managers, regional sales teams to deliver revenue, market share, and productivity targets
Lead all key future growth enabler project like GLP and biosimilars
Work closely with global BD team, R&D and business to map potential and lead on launch plans of NCEs, biosimilars and GLP , for both India business and EM
Qualifications
Proven track record in driving business growth, successful product launches, and strategy execution
Excellent leadership, analytical, and stakeholder management skills
Experience managing cross-functional teams including marketing, sales, supply chain, and resources with matrix reporting structures
Ability to lead teams working on multiple product portfolios including partner/co-marketed products from different pharmaceutical companies
Entrepreneurial mindset with ability to identify and capitalize on market opportunities
