Fire Safety Management
- Develop and maintain fire safety policies, procedures, and emergency response plans
- Conduct regular fire risk assessments and safety audits of building systems and operations
- Oversee fire prevention programs including inspection and maintenance of fire suppression systems, alarms, emergency lighting, and exit systems
- Coordinate fire drills and emergency evacuation procedures
- Ensure compliance with local fire codes, NFPA standards, and occupational safety regulations
- Maintain relationships with local fire departments and emergency responders
- Investigate fire incidents and near-misses, documenting findings and implementing corrective actions
Security Operations
- Design and implement comprehensive security programs for building access control, surveillance, and perimeter protection
- Manage security personnel, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluation
- Oversee installation, maintenance, and operation of security systems including CCTV, card access, intrusion detection, and visitor management systems
- Develop security protocols for high-value IT equipment, data centers, and sensitive areas
- Coordinate with law enforcement agencies and investigate security incidents
- Conduct regular security assessments and vulnerability analyses
Emergency Management
- Develop business continuity and disaster recovery plans specific to fire and security incidents
- Lead crisis management response during emergency situations
- Coordinate with building management, tenants, and external agencies during incidents
- Maintain emergency communication systems and notification procedures
- Oversee emergency supply management and equipment readiness
Compliance and Training
- Ensure adherence to all applicable fire safety codes, security regulations, and insurance requirements
- Develop and deliver safety and security training programs for building occupants and staff
- Maintain detailed documentation of inspections, incidents, training records, and compliance activities
- Prepare reports for senior management, insurance providers, and regulatory agencies
- Stay current with evolving fire safety technologies, security threats, and regulatory changes
Required Qualifications
Education and Certifications
- Bachelor's degree in Fire Science, Security Management, Emergency Management, or related field
- Professional certifications such as Certified Fire Protection Specialist (CFPS), Physical Security Professional (PSP), or Certified Protection Professional (CPP) preferred
- Current CPR/First Aid certification
Experience
- 5+ years of experience in fire safety and/or security management, preferably in commercial or IT environments
- Experience with building systems including fire suppression, HVAC, electrical, and security technologies
- Knowledge of relevant codes and standards including NFPA, IFC, and local fire codes
Technical Skills
- Proficiency with fire safety and security management software systems
- Understanding of IT infrastructure security requirements and data center operations
- Experience with risk assessment methodologies and emergency planning

Working Conditions
- Standard office environment with regular visits to all areas of building premises
