Job Description

Management Information System (MIS) & Reporting

Prepare and publish periodic MIS including P&L, cash flow, variance analysis, and key business metrics.

Analyze financial performance and provide insights for decision-making.

Coordinate with cross-functional teams to gather data and ensure accuracy of reports.

Automate and streamline reporting processes wherever possible.

2. Month-End Closure

Ensure timely and accurate month-end closing of books.

Perform validation of journal entries, accruals, provisions, and reconciliations.

Review and finalize ledgers, trial balance, and ensure correctness of financial statements.

Work closely with AP/AR, and Operational teams for closure-related activities

3. Costing & Accounting

Strong understanding of standard costing, actual costing, and variance analysis
Knowledge of product costing, process costing, batch costing, job costing
Ability to prepare Cost Sheets, BOM (Bill of Material) analysis, and overhead allocation
4. Other Responsibilities
Support budgeting and forecasting activities when required.
Drive process improvements through automation (Excel, Power BI, SAP, etc.).
Perform ad-hoc financial analysis based on business needs.
