The Impact You'll Make

As aFinance Executive in our Procure to Pay team, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our financial operations. Your contributions will directly support timely vendor payments, smooth audits, and strong stakeholder relationships-helping Danfoss maintain its reputation for operational excellence. By driving process improvements and reducing open items, you'll help us build a more agile and resilient finance function

What You'll Be Doing

In this role, you will:

• Review, verify, and process vendor invoices in compliance with company policies.
• Match invoices with purchase orders and receiving documentation.
• Execute domestic and international payments, ensuring timely and accurate transactions.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies proactively.
• Maintain up-to-date vendor profiles and manage payment-related communications.
• Collaborate with banks and internal stakeholders to handle India-specific documentation and queries.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities and audits.
• Contribute to financial reporting and analysis.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance P2P processes and reduce open items.
• Ensure compliance with accounting principles, company policies, and legal regulations.

What We're Looking For

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

• A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (preferred).
• At least 5 years of hands-on experience in accounts payable.
• Strong understanding of P2P processes and best practices.
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office tools.
• High attention to detail and accuracy in financial documentation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
