Job Description for Executive/ Sr/Executive in ESG & Compliance Management department, Legal Function

  1. Undertaking Sustainability Assessment & analysis:
  2. Review & support improvements across sustainability policies, processes, strategies aligned to non-financial disclosure frameworks like BRSR, GRI, SASB, Integrated Reporting and ESG rating frameworks.
  3. Innovate & collaborate to catalyze the implementation of ESG-related activities in operations and business practices.

  1. Review of Company's progress on ESG performance at regular intervals:
  2. Develop the internal sustainability data reporting processes
  3. Support digitization of non-financial KPIs in consultation with the relevant business functions

  1. Compliance Process Management:
  2. Work with the systems & tools for managing Group compliances (across various compliances applicable to business like Labour and Employment laws, Environment laws, Health & safety related laws regulations and guidelines, Information Technology and Data protection laws, Advertising laws, Telecom laws, Real estate compliances, etc.)
  3. Engage in routine activities to ensure operational compliance across lines of business, including performance dashboards, conducting trainings, etc.

Skills:

  1. Strong verbal and written communication skills
  2. Strong and demonstrable problem solving and analytical skills
  3. Be able to work in entrepreneurial and team-oriented environment
  4. Good organizational skills with an ability to think proactively and prioritize work so as to meet timelines with quality output
  5. Deep interest to progress management of critical business areas (related to compliance and sustainability) by driving initiatives through effective stakeholder management
  6. Knowledge and/or experience of India's environmental & social legal framework, WBCSD GHG Protocol, Net Zero programs and SBTI targets is a plus.
  7. Strong MS Excel and MS PowerPoint skills - Comfort working with large datasets and communicating key information.
  8. Experience in managing a corporate data management tool would be handy.

Educational qualification & Experience:

  1. Graduate or Post Graduate in environmental science, sustainability, engineering, or related field from reputed institutes with 2+ years work experience (preferable)
  2. Certifications in sustainability related areas from GRI, WBCSD, SASB, etc. will be an advantage
